Imbolc marks a subtle turning of the year—the moment when warmth begins to gather beneath the frost. It is a threshold festival, honoring what is forming steadily within the earth and within the self. The days remain cool, yet light is lengthening, and the current of life has already begun to shift.

This Imbolc gathering is offered as a live ritual and spell, guided in sacred space. Together, we will work with the elemental currents of fire and water—the flame that gives form to intention and the well that restores clarity and flow. This rite supports purification, awakening, and gentle vow-making for what is ready to emerge as the season changes.

Imbolc carries the medicine of patience, devotion, and attuned presence. It blesses what is already alive within you and brings warmth to the places that have been waiting for care and recognition.

Participants will join from their own spaces, while the shared field holds coherence, presence, and continuity.

Preparation & What to Bring

Suggested: Please prepare a simple ritual space in advance.

Essential

  • A candle (white, red, or beeswax preferred)
  • A bowl of water
    • Snowmelt, if available
    • Or spring water, rainwater, or another natural source
  • A quiet, uninterrupted space
  • Bare hands for simple gesture and blessing

Optional Enhancements

  • Red, white, or earth-toned altar cloth
  • Fresh herbs such as chamomile, rosemary, basil, or angelica
  • A small object representing what you are shaping or tending
    • Examples include a pen, needle, key, thread, stone, or seed
  • Journal and pen for reflection after the gathering

Participants are welcome to dress in ritual whites, reds, or natural tones.
